Lunares
2019 - 2020
As a child, I was obsessed with keeping track of how many
moles I had on my face and body. Drawing lines on my body
was a way to remember them.
Since I became aware of the damage they could cause, I realised how critical it actually was for my own health to keep track of them, as I did as a child. Here I reconnected with my skin, I created new systems to remember, emulating the games that I invented as a child. In this way I explore my skin like a map, which also helps me to remind how imprecise and fragile memory can be.
